A door of hope

In Hebrew, Achor means trouble or affliction. The valley of trouble would be the place where she learns to see God in a new way. Through trouble, God was going to woo her back to His heart. He was going to get her heart back. In the valley of trouble, hope would be birthed.

Between great and menial things.

Most people don’t know that God doesn’t choose us in the great things. He chooses us in the menial insignificant things. He sees our attitudes. He sees how we behave when no one is watching. He sees our hearts and He knows what He can and cannot trust us with.
